In the beginning Jacob was Sasha's crush. She thought of him as a Zac Ephron cutie from the way his hair was. She first saw him when the dorm monitor was telling Sasha the rules. When they finally got to meet each other, he told her about Mrs. Utz. Then they met each other again in film class, where he sat next to her. After he asked her out to go get some ice cream, they went to the game room and Jacob touched Sasha's fingers to get them in the right place on the controller. Jacob gave her his IM name and then they left. Sasha then expected her hands to glow. After that they got the same writing in Mr. Ramezes class the Titanic. They helped each other with that. When Sasha got to plan for the winter dance, she asked if Jacob was free, and they danced together. In the second book they were still going like that, but Heather interfered. She kept on making Sasha think that Jacob liked her instead of Sasha. Then came the Sweet Heart Soiree, Where it messed everything up. When Heather invited people into the backroom that the teachers left unlocked, they played a little game that Sasha got mad at. She and some others left. Then came the dance where you had to find the match of the little heart. And of course Heather and Jacob were dancing together. This is where everything got out of control. Sasha yelled at Jacob, then stormed out with Eric trailing behind. Then Heather came out and said that Sasha made it easier for her to play this little trick. After Jacob stormed out, and went back inside when Sasha and Eric headed to Sasha's dorm. A few days later Sasha started to date Eric, and Jacob and Callie got together. Next was Sasha's birthday, but before her birthday Jacob dumped Callie. At the birthday party, Jacob tried to kiss Sasha, and Eric saw it happening. Sasha had her hands on Jacob's chest to push him away but Eric thought that she wanted to kiss him back. Sasha and him were over now. Sasha was depressed and she would do a lot of studying and a lot of riding on her free time. Then when it was almost school break Heather wanted her to come with her to New York, instead of Paige's in New York, when Paige and Sasha had a fight. During her visit, Jacob kept on emailing Sasha. Some how Heather got onto Sasha's account. When Jacob asked if he could meet Sasha at the canter wood crest fountain, Heather said sure for Sasha when Sasha didn't want to see Jacob.
