Lauren mounts him and begins the course, racing over several jumps and making a great time. When only 2 jumps are left, Lauren lets him do a near canter, and begins to count strides as the last jump comes closer. However, Skyblue digs his hooves into the grass and stops just before the vertical, and Lauren flies out of the saddle and hits the ground, leaving her with a possible concussion. Later, when the ambulance comes, Lauren asks if Skyblue is alright, to which Mr. Well responds he's fine. He is not mentioned again, and it is unknown what happened to him. |
