He caused Sasha and Callie to end their friendship because he liked Sasha. Callie and Jacob both broke Sasha's heart when they dated behind her back in Behind the Bit.
History
Take the Reins
Jacob Schwartz is first mentioned in Take the Reins as "a cute guy with a Zac Efron shaggy haircut" when Sasha sees him outside her dorm window. Later in the book, Sasha sees him in Ms. Utz's office when she goes to pick an an elective, film class. Coincedently, Jacob goes to film class too and sits right next to Sasha. Near the end of the book, Sasha invites him to the winter ball she hosts. They dance until he has to go. Callie says that they were "so cute together!" and Paige remarks, "He wanted to dance with you all night."
Physical Appearance
Jacob is extremely handsome and cute, and has been called "hot" by both Heather and Sasha. Jacob looks amazingly like Zac Efron, with his shaggy, messy-on-purpose haircut as well. He is tall, and has been described with gray-green eyes flecked with darker blue.
